Pompano Beach is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pompano Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I finally had the opportunity to check out this place and I must say I’m glad I stopped by. We came in the middle of the day and were able to catch the lunch specials. We ordered the bourbon bbq wings which were really good! The sauce was well balanced and the wings were cooked perfectly. We also ordered a smash burger, but that fell flat for us. There wasn’t much flavor overall. The fries however were delicious. I added an order of the blackened chicken Alfredo and this was the star of the show! Flavor explosion and perfectly seasoned. I’ll be back for this dish for sure. The service felt a little chaotic. It wasn’t exactly busy, but it seemed like there’s not just one server assigned to your table which caused some confusion for us. We had three servers come up to help us during our time there, a bit unusual. Not unpleasant, just different than what we’re used to.

Cool spot with really interesting history dating back to 1922 when the building was a bank. Story includes a bank robbery and more! The vibe is modern and chic. Food is all made from scratch and we all enjoyed our entrees. The chicken bowl with coconut rice was a personal favorite. They offer both small and large plate options. Unique variety of foods served nice and hot. Server was friendly and described some of the highlights on the menu. Live music outside on a casual patio, but way too hot without misters to cool us down.

I haven’t been to Old Town in years and they have done a sensational job of cleaning it up. I don’t know when this place popped up but it is small, semi-sophisticated and fun. The food is good - their lunch specials and happy hour is great but it will take a good 15-20 minutes to get through the menu since every dish and cocktail is cleverly written. It has a great back story and wonderful black and white films on the TV. The staff is friendly and keeps an eye on your table. I had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back.

Love the concept of sharing small or large plates. Everything we ordered was hot and fresh. Please don’t sleep on the downtown rangoons, coconut rice, lump crab chowder, wings and my deliciously made Pineapple Upside Down Martini. Everything we tried wa Super flavorful and filling. I was so stuffed but I could not leave without trying the bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. OMG! Not one word spoken until we devoured the last bite. Our waitress had it going on! Kelly is Sweet, Courteous and Knowledgeable. Definitely going back for Brunch and Live Music.
